We are pleased to report a continuous increase in the amount of plentyMarkets SOAP API users and have already begun to work on a few new calls for the upcoming version. Unfortunately, we noticed that the SOAP API was sometimes being used incorrectly or ineffectively. Therefore, we saw the need to intervene technically and correct these errors in order to increase the quality and speed of the processes.
During the last two weeks, we made further improvements to the plentyMarkets cloud. The new technology that we are using has a very positive effect on the loading times of the webshops that we host.
This year's Christmas time, statistically seen, has brought record sales for plentyMarkets sellers. Until today, already 1.8 million orders have been processed in plentyMarkets in December 2011. This is 42% more than during the same period last year.
We offer plentyMarkets Professional as a software as a service solution (SaaS) including free hosting. Our hosting concept is currently being restructured and at the same time we are simplifying the hosting on our own servers.
Currently, we are extending our main cluster to further improve our plentyMarkets Professional semgent. After we have already significantly improved the system's reliability by implementing the master-master replication for our database servers, the storage section will now be transformed into a cluster storage system.
