Digital, direct and measurable - How does this effect your business model?
A central topic in e-commerce is the measurability of marketing and sales measures. While large online sellers are improving their ways of collecting more data as well as increasingly specific data about customers, traditional companies are still ticking a little bit differently here. The measurability and the constant optimization by online sellers that is closely linked to it, is a central advantage for aiming, modulating and personalizing a product range. A very good example is the use of catalogs or print media for marketing purposes. While Otto stops the production of their main catalog, Zalando keeps on using this advertising method - Why?

Customer and online store feedback: user generated curse or useful tool?
A positive online reputation is becoming more and more important for a company's success. This new type of public exchange of opinions is a sensitive topic, especially to online sellers. These portals, however, can be used to your own advantage and will offer many opportunities when using the right communication strategy.

Almost everybody knows this resolution: 1024x768px. 17-inch CRT monitors might be pretty rare by now, but there are numerous other displays: they range from small smartphones to television screens. Many stores are still laid out for one fixed screen resolution. Today's challenge is therefore to conform to this new situation with more flexible websites and online stores. Shop Usability Branding - The way to uniqueness!
Usability optimization makes it easy to learn how to use an online store. While structures become clear, functions become recognizable and products can be found easily. Improved usability is the key to a successful online store and the main focus of your store concept. Long-lasting success of an online store, however, can only be assured if the niche is clearly defined and therefore the shop is authentic and its position can be easily recognized, the product range is coherent and only if the store owner is able to understand and consult his or her customers. The store also needs to act like and become its own brand: clear, honest, professional, high-quality, inspiring, consistent... Usability is the core of every brand and it has to be noticeable to users. Usability optimization also means brand optimization - on the way to uniqueness.
The perfect online store - Searching for the holy grail.
Every store owner wants it. An online store that is as popular as Zalando, that has as many functions as Amazon together with Vitra's ease in handling and back office processes like SAP. At the same time, the store should be low in costs and achieve the highest revenues. But, is that even possible? Or reasonable? Stefan Sobczac, CEO at Netshops Commerce, creates shopping solutions for online sellers, focusing on producers and brands.

Purposeful exchange of experiences and networking for online sellers
Of course, the Congress 2014 will again present numerous new highlights: One is the direct exchange of experiences between online sellers at the Congress. For this purpose we will provide different topic-related networking areas, where sellers from different industries are supposed to meet in order to give each other tips and advices or to simply chat in a relaxed atmosphere. After all, we have made the experience that some long lasting "e-commerce friendships" have found their beginnings at our Congress - and, of course, we want to further encourage this in the future.
More than 50 exhibitors from the plentymarkets partner network will present themselves on over 1000sq m of the affiliated trade fair. Take the chance to establish personal contact to different companies and to exchange with others about the trends and opportunities in the eBusiness. Meet competent representatives from different e-commerce sectors who will gladly advise you about markets, fulfillment services, payment or online store tools, marketing agencies, webdesign or SEO/SEM and much more.
After a long business day we will continue with our aftershow party. We will end the day in a relaxing atmosphere with some good food, refreshing and lots of space for further networking. This year we will set up a large lounge area away from the main event for further conversations.
Enjoy yourselves by listening and dancing to the live band's music. Food and drinks will be on us during the entire evening.
